"Many special-needs individuals have trouble feeding themselves," said an inventor from Wheatley Heights, N.Y. "I knew that they could be made able to feed themselves if their needs were catered to, which inspired me to develop this meal kit just for them."

She developed the patented Easy Feed to provide an effective way to to teach and help a user feed and groom him- or herself. The accessory eliminates the need for assistance. It promotes convenience and independence. The device keeps key items stable and within reach. It is versatile and easy to use. The unit is dishwasher-safe. It can be used as a teaching aid for the disabled, as well as young children. The device is ideal for wheelchair use. Furthermore, the invention is ideal for elderly and/or disabled people.
