InventHelp Inventor Develops Gutter-Cleaning Tool (BGF-925)

Pittsburgh-based InventHelp is working to submit this idea, the EAVE BUDDY, to companies for their consideration.

"I needed a more efficient way to remove ice from my gutters. Having to get a ladder out in the freezing cold is difficult and dangerous," said an inventor from South Lyon, Mich. "This inspired me to develop a tool that cleans out gutters without the need to climb a ladder."

He developed the EAVE BUDDY to offer an effective way to clear ice from gutters. This prevents ice from building up in the gutter and weighing it down as well as deters ice damming near the edge of the roof. It also ensures that gutters redirect water drainage properly. The design of the tool eliminates the need to climb a ladder in order to remove ice from gutters. This is intended to enhance personal safety. Furthermore, the device is easy to use.

The original design was submitted to the Bingharm Farms office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
