Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Improved Wheelchair (BMA-4578)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) April 14, 2016 -- "A friend of mine lost his legs and was relegated to a wheelchair," said an inventor from Hudson, N.H. "He does not want anyone to push him around. He encounters trouble when he needs to go uphill, which led me to think of ways to propel himself more easily."
He developed the patent-pending EMPOWER WHEELCHAIR to provide an easier way to propel oneself forward. The design enables the user to harness the power of his or her entire arms. This makes it easier to maneuver uphill. The wheelchair offers greater speed, control and maneuverability. It improves the individual's confidence and independence. Furthermore, it also increases stopping power.
The original design was submitted to the Boston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
