InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is attempting to submit this idea, the Energy Saver, to applicable companies for their consideration.

Windows that allow heated or cooled air to escape from a home interior end up raising utility expenses and diminishing comfort, so an inventor from Columbia, S.C., decided that there should be a simple yet efficient way to prevent this from happening. "That’s when I came up with the ENERGY SAVER," he said.

This invention allows for easy and effective weatherproofing of a home. It prevents wastage and high utility costs, and it also avoids discomfort. Overall, it promotes convenience and peace of mind. Ergonomic, versatile, easy to use and producible in different sizes, colors and designs, the ENERGY SAVER is ideal for all households. The inventor has created a prototype of his idea.

The original design was submitted to the Columbia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
