Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit an invention, Extension Holder, to companies for review.

"When I applied hair extensions, I would simply place them on the countertop and start combing out the client's hair," said an inventor from Seagoville, Texas. "Many times, the extensions slipped off the countertop while doing this and fell to the floor, and clients were not happy about having extensions put into their hair that had been on the floor. In order to provide a better place to keep extensions until I needed them, I came up with this fashionable holder."

She created a prototype for the Extension Holder to provide a secure place to store hair extensions until they are ready to be applied. The accessory ensures that the stylist has quick and easy access to the extensions. The device prevents extensions from slipping off countertops onto the floor. It also saves the stylist time and effort when doing extensions. The invention provides customers with added peace of mind. In addition, the unit features a decorative, eye-catching design.

The original design was submitted to the Dallas office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
