InventHelp, a leading invention firm, is submitting the EZ RAMP to companies for their consideration and potential feedback.
"When I push my son around in his stroller, I often have lots of difficulty getting into and out of stores," said an inventor from Hoboken, N.J., grappling with new motherhood and transportation ease. "I thought that there had to be an easier way to maneuver strollers up and down sets of steps, which led me to invent this."
Enter the patent-pending EZ RAMP -- developed by Heidi Leibowitz -- to make it easier to push or pull a stroller up or down a set of stairs without pause or hesitation. The device eliminates the need to first transport the child, and then go back to get the stroller, saving time and effort, and minimizing the physical stress and strain. It features a lightweight, compact, easily portably-designed that can be taken anywhere. Also, the invention is usable with hand trucks and dollies.
The original design was submitted to the New Jersey office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
