Comfortable Toiletry Option Invented for Women Who are Bedridden (OLC-260)
PITTSBURGH…Until now, the only way bedridden females could urinate was on a conventional hospital bed pan. However, an inventor from Oklahoma City, Okla., has pursued an idea that has resulted in a better option in such cases.
He developed a prototype for the patent-pending FEMALE PILLOW BED PAN to provide a more comfortable bed pan option for female patients than the conventional metal unit. What’s more, it saves time, effort and expense. At the same time, it affords dignity to women during a vulnerable and difficult time. Besides promoting sanitary conditions, this unique invention is safe, lightweight, durable and easy to use. Also, it is ideal for use in private homes and in medical or other patient care facilities. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced.
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “I saw a serious need for this through my own experience taking care of my mother,” he said. “I consulted with doctors and nurses about this idea and received favorable feedback to pursue marketing it.”
The original design was submitted to the Oklahoma City office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
