InventHelp Inventor Develops Tool for Installing Wooden Fences (DLL-3238)

Share Article

InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, is working to submit Fence It to companies for their review.

"My wife helped me install a fence," said an inventor from Dallas, Texas. "She held the spacer in place to mark where I needed to nail it. She also held the tape measure while I marked the placement for the rails. I thought that there had to be a better way."

He created a prototype for the FENCE IT to serve as an all-in-one template for use with all types of wooden fences. The tool indicates where to place the rails on the fence post, where to place the pickets on the rails and how much of a gap is needed between the pickets. The design eliminates the need to use a tape measure or an assistant. It saves the installer from having to ask someone else for assistance. In addition, the device keeps the height of all the pickets level, and it ensures that everything is correct and uniform.

The original design was submitted to the Dallas office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
