Cell Phone Self-Portrait Accessory Invented by InventHelp Client (KOC-346)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 10, 2016 -- The prevalence of cell phone use in the last decade has lead to the impressive smartphone models we see on the market today. These models include high-resolution cameras, wireless internet access and social media apps, which have contributed to the popularity of the self-portrait, or "selfie." The rise in popularity of this form of photography has inspired a range of accessories that allow for an improved photo.
An inventor from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, has developed FLIPIT, a smartphone case with built-in accessories that allow for improved self-portraits and hands-free viewing. This device puts more distance between the user and the camera, providing more background in the photo. Additionally, its wireless capabilities allow the user to take a photo without having to physically touch the screen of the smartphone. "I wanted to give smartphone users a more hands-free experience," said the inventor. "Plus, FLIPIT could be produced to fit all models of smartphones."
Unlike other cell phone photography accessories on the market, FLIPIT does not require the user to carry additional components. This convenient and lightweight accessory that can be designed to integrate with any smartphone.
It also has an echo system of components that allows hands-free viewing similar to GoPro*, an underwater case and battery-recharging capabilities.
