InventHelp Invention Allows For More Comfortable Wearing of Catheters (VET-462)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) January 13, 2017 -- An inventor from Pahrump, Nev., used an unsavory medical experience to think of a way to improve the lives of many others. "My urologist had me wear a Foley catheter and urine bag for a half year due to lazy bladder," he said. "Keeping these things on my leg was difficult and uncomfortable, so I decided that there should be a better way to do this."
He then designed and created a prototype of the FOLEY CRADLE, a device that provides a more comfortable way to wear a Foley catheter and urine bag between the knee and thigh. This prevents slippage, pulling and discomfort. It also takes the weight off the urine bag while it’s filling. In addition, it conceals the bag, which promotes dignity and peace of mind.
Compact, ergonomic and easy to use, the FOLEY CRADLE is ideal for people with incontinence and/or prostate cancer.
The original design was submitted to the Las Vegas office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
