Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Visibility Enhancer for Mobility Aids (IPL-392)

Based in Pittsburgh, Pa., InventHelp is submitting FOR MY SAFETY to applicable companies for their consideration.

"I thought that wheelchairs and scooters should be equipped with safety aids to ensure that handicapped individuals are visible to passing motorists," said an inventor from Ft. Wayne, Ind. "I devised this invention to improve safety conditions, especially at night."

He developed the patent-pending FOR MY SAFETY to improve the visibility of an individual using a mobility aid, such as a wheelchair or scooter. This ensures that passing motorists can see the individual clearly, which helps reduce the risk of collisions. The invention is designed to enhance personal safety. It is ideal for use at nighttime and in low-lighting conditions. In addition, the accesory is adaptable for use with both new and existing mobility aids.

The original design was submitted to the Indianapolis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
