Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit an invention, Free Umbrella, to companies for review.

The Free Umbrella provides protection from rain, wind and sun. It also enhances mobility because it ensures that the user's hands are free to work, carry groceries, text or simply relax. The invention features a portable and lightweight design that is convenient and easy to use. Additionally, the Free Umbrella it is compact so it is easy to store and transport and it is producible in design variations.

The inventor, from Uppermarlboro, Md., described his inspiration for the invention. “I came up with this invention to make working outdoors in the sun and rain more comfortable and convenient.”
