InventHelp, based in Pittsburgh, is attempting to submit the Gauntlet to applicable companies for their review.

If your business has ever been robbed, the chances are that the perpetrator was never apprehended. Because of the creativity of an inventor from Jarupa Valley, Calif., it is now easy to identify illegal intruders and bring them to justice.

In fact, he developed GAUNTLET specifically for that purpose. Since it helps identify the perpetrator in a break-in, it provides security for a business against being victimized with no recourse, which is often the outcome of robberies. Therefore, it affords peace of mind for the user by insuring that any intruder can be easily identified. This means that it helps reduce the crime rate, particularly related to robberies and break-ins. What's more, it is adaptable to fit in most typical commercial door frames. It is also cost effective by preventing loss of merchandise. In addition, it is convenient, easy to install and use and affordably priced.

The inventor's work experience inspired the idea. "While working as a police officer and owner of a security company, I have seen many people victimized with no vindication," he said. "So I wanted to find a way to identify perpetrators of crimes so they are caught."
