Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Detail Sander For Small Acute Angled Spaces (FED-1308)

Share Article

InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, is working to submit the Geometric Detail Sander to appropriate companies for their consideration.

Unable to find a suitable sander available in stores, an inventor from Lynnwood, Wash., developed the GEOMETRIC DETAIL SANDER. The device effectively sands within confined and angled corner spaces that rotary tools can not reach.

The tool, with its various interchangeable sanding forms and other types of tool heads, allows the user to reach acute angled corner spaces that other tools don't. The unit saves time and effort while eliminating the hassles and frustrations caused by the use of incorrect tools and manual operation of those tools.

The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "I came up with this idea while staining dental crown molding," he said. "There are small rectangular sections of the molding that cannot be reached with current sanders. My invention smooths out the hard-to-reach surfaces so that they can be stained properly."

The original design was submitted to the Seattle office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
