Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Improved Garbage Can (PHO-1989)

InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is submitting this idea, the Grounded Garbage Can, to companies in the hopes of a good faith review.

"I grew tired of the wind blowing over my trash cans," said an inventor from Laveen, Ariz. "Not wanting to have to pick them up every morning, I came up with a trash can that will not be blown away when the wind picks up."

He developed the Grounded Garbage Can to remain upright and stable so that it will not be blown about by strong winds. The design also makes it easier to remove heavy garbage bags. The can eliminates hassles and frustrations when taking out the trash. It offers added peace of mind. The can can be used indoors or outdoors. In addition, it keeps pests from knocking over the can.

The original design was submitted to the Phoenix office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
