Pittsburgh-based InventHelp is attempting to submit the Secure Track to appropriate companies for their consideration and possible feedback.

An inventor from Remplap, Ala., is concerned about gun security. "Someone broke into our house and stole a gun, and the police weren’t able to find it," he said. "This gave me the idea for a reliable way to avoid this serious problem."

Ideal for all gun owners, the easy-to-use and compact Secure Track prevents the loss or successful theft of a firearm. It allows for quick and easy recovery, as well as helps law enforcement. Overall, it promotes safety and peace of mind.

The original design was submitted to the Birmingham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
