InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is attempting to submit this idea, the Hair-O-Sel, to applicable companies for their consideration.

Beauty salon professionals who create new hair styles with wigs provide the perfect way to change to a new hairstyle instantly. However, until now, they have not had a convenient place to store the wigs until needed. Luckily, an inventor from Shreveport, La., has come up with a solution.

She developed HAIR-O-SEL to provide a hair stylist with a neat, organized area to store wigs and hair-styling accessories. At the same time, it preserves the hair styles of the wigs. Another benefit is that it facilitates cosmetology instruction in different hair-styling techniques. Its simple design not only makes it easy to use but minimizes production costs as well. This unique invention is also safe and attractive. What’s more, it saves on space and is lightweight and portable. Other appealing features include convenience, effectiveness and an affordable price.

The inventor’s professional experience inspired the idea. “As a hair stylist who wears many wigs, I had trouble finding a safe place to store my wigs after I styled them so they would be handy and ready to wear,” she said.

The original design was submitted to the National Sales Office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
