InventHelp Inventor Develops Hands-free Mobility Aid (CCT-1028)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 28, 2015 -- "My son is 8-years-old and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy," said an inventor from Hamilton, Ohio. "I can give him a small amount of support to walk without his hands, but there is no home-use equipment on the market that allows him to walk hands-free, which inspired me to invent this."
She created a prototype for the HANDS FREE WALKER to support the individual as he or she walks. The unit features a hands-free design. Use of the device strengthens posture and fosters a sense of independence. The invention enables the user to achieve a more natural gait pattern. Additionally, it prevents the user from falling over and risking injury.
The original design was submitted to the Cincinnati office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
