Discreet Oxygen Delivery System Invented by InventHelp Client (HCD-260)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) July 17, 2014 -- Patients requiring oxygen therapy have a big enough challenge already without the added inconvenience of current oxygen delivery systems. Because of the creativity of an inventor from Spring, Texas, however, an improved method of oxygen therapy is available.
She developed a prototype for O-2-I'S to provide greater convenience for individuals undergoing oxygen therapy. It not only prevents marks left on the face by conventional nasal cannulae, it also eliminates the need for expensive attachments used with conventional oxygen administration. This system additionally provides greater comfort, safety and effectiveness than current therapy options.
Furthermore, it eliminates the need for frequent adjustment of the oxygen line and is designed for durability and affordability. Its small size also renders it hardly noticeable and less cumbersome than current systems. In addition, it is easy to use, clean and maintain.
The inventor based her idea on her own health issues. "I wear a nasal cannula at night that leaves marks on my face," she said. "So I wanted to find a way to prevent that from happening while still receiving the oxygen I needed."
The original design was submitted to the Houston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
