PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) April 12, 2016 -- For those that have ever worried about their loved ones' safety, or worse, been a victim of a violent crime themselves, it can be terrifying. Fortunately, an inventor from Nampa, Idaho, has found a very discreet way for individuals to protect themselves against such danger in the future.
She developed HEIRLOOM to help a attract attention to someone in need of help. As such, it reduces the rate of crimes like beatings, muggings, theft, abductions and rapes. Similarly, it helps apprehend criminals. Furthermore, it provides peace of mind and a sense of safety and security. Besides that, it makes an attractive fashion accessory for men, women and children. At the same time, it is compact, lightweight and easy to use. It also fits any budget from moderate to expensive. In addition, it makes a great gift for any occasion.
The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "When my daughter and I attended a festival, we stopped at a booth that had self-defense items. She immediately looked at an unattractive keychain that turned out to be a panic button. I told her she would lose the keychain and that I would buy her something more practical and one she cannot lose," she said. "She inspired me to create this idea."
The original design was submitted to the Boise office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
