InventHelp® Client Develops Improved Mat (CTO-806)

Share Article

A Connecticut-based InventHelp client has invented the Indoor/Outdoor Heated Rubber Mat, which is being submitted to companies for review.

"When people come in from the outdoors, they track dirt and moisture into the home," said an inventor from Middletown, Conn. "Not only does this soil the flooring, it also presents a danger because the person might slip and fall. To avoid this, I came up with a better mat."

He developed the INDOOR/ OUTDOOR HEATED RUBBER MAT to clean and dry footwear before entering a home or other establishment. The mat helps to prevent slip-and-fall injuries. This is designed to enhance personal safety. The mat eliminates the need to sweep and mop the floors as often. Additionally, it features a versatile, multipurpose design that can be used indoors and outdoors.

The original design was submitted to the Connecticut office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
