Pittsburgh-based InventHelp is attempting to submit an invention, Inflatable Bed Couch, to companies for review.

"I was really frustrated at not having any furniture in my place," said an inventor from Austin, Texas "I did not want to have to shell out a ton of money to buy fine furnishings. I wanted simple, comfortable furniture that I could afford, which is what inspired this idea."

He developed the Inflatable Bed Couch to fulfill a need for comfortable, affordable furniture. The unit is designed to be easy to move around the room. The accessory ensures that you have a place to sit and/or sleep. It can be set up quickly and easily for guests. The invention serves as temporary or permanent furniture. Furthermore, it is lightweight and portable. It includes armrests with cup holders on the sides.

The original design was submitted to the Austin office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
