An inventor from Durham, N.C., has used her own unpleasant experience to develop a better way for people to stay warm in any location. "This idea came to me while I became very cold during dialysis (due to anemia)," she said. "I couldn’t use an electric blanket since plugging in other electric devices isn’t allowed during the dialysis process." This prompted her to think of another way to achieve enough warmth in such a situation.
JB'S BLANKET provides a more convenient and efficient way to get warm in any location. It promotes comfort and peace of mind, and it eliminates worry of a power outage.
Portable, versatile, easy to use and producible in different sizes, colors, patterns and personalized designs, it serves as an alternative to conventional blankets, and it's suitable for the general population, but ideal for dialysis patients, cancer patients, etc.
The original design was submitted to the Durham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
