A leading inventor service company, InventHelp is submitting the JC HAMMER to appropriate companies for their review.

Despite the growth of technology in business, the upholstery trade is one service that still relies on hand crafting. Fortunately, an inventor from Ramseur, N.C., has come up with a way to reduce the manual labor currently required to complete the job.

He developed a prototype for the patent-pending JC HAMMER to streamline the upholstering process. It does so by helping to apply the pressure needed to drive tack strips into place easily. As such, it saves both time and effort. It, therefore, improves employee productivity and profitability for upholstery businesses. At the same time, it prevents injury to the hands. Furthermore, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced. It is also easy to use, practical and durable. In addition, its simple design minimizes production costs.

The inventor’s professional experience inspired the idea. “While working as an upholsterer, I decided to invent this tool not only to improve productivity for upholstery businesses, making them more successful, but also to enhance the finished product for the consumer,” he said.

The original design was submitted to the Durham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
