Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit an invention, Pop Opener, to companies for review.

Conventional can openers - whether manual or electric - don’t work effectively, so two inventors from Anniston, Ala., decided to design a better way to open cans.

The Pop Opener is an improved can opener that provides a quicker, easier way to open cans. It avoids strain and trial-and-error, as well as saves time and effort. The opener is ergonomic, easy to use and compatible with all sizes of American cans.

The original design was submitted to the Birmingham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
