InventHelp Invention Secures Therapeutic Leeches (QCY-215)

Share Article

Founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, InventHelp is submitting the LEECH CUP to companies for their consideration.

An inventor from Salisbury, N.C., knows the difficulties involved with leech therapy. "I work at a hospital, and I haven’t yet seen an effective and dignified way to keep leeches in place during therapy," she said. "That’s why I came up with the idea for the LEECH CUP."

This invention provides an effective way to keep a leech in place on the skin during therapy. It prevents the leech from crawling away, which avoids the hassle of retrieval or loss of the leech. As a result, it promotes convenience, comfort, peace of mind and easy disposal.

Compact, ergonomic, easy to use and producible in design variations, the LEECH CUP is ideal for hospitals, medical centers and leech-therapy centers.

The original design was submitted to the Quincy office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
