InventHelp Accessory Protects Clothes from Spilled Food (TPA-2070)

InventHelp, a Pittsburgh-based inventor service firm, is submitting the Meal Shield to applicable companies for their consideration and possible feedback.

An inventor from Tampa, Fla., knows how frustrating it is when food drops onto one's clothes. "My late husband and I would always spill food on our clothes while eating," she said, "so I conceived of this design in order to prevent this common problem."

She then created a prototype of the MEAL SHIELD, an accessory that prevents spilled food from soiling and staining an adult’s clothes. As a result, it prevents hassle and frustration, as well as eliminates the need for dry cleaning, saving money. The accessory is easy to use and suitable for the general adult population, especially the elderly and physically disabled.

The original design was submitted to the Tampa office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
