"I wanted to have my harp available to play while I played the piano," said an inventor from Pleasanton, Calif. "I did not want to wear one of the conventional holders that wraps around the neck, as I find this uncomfortable, so I came up with this alternative hands-free holder."
He created a prototype for the SMILEY FREEDOM HARP HOLDER to offer a convenient way to hold a harmonica in front of a microphone. The design frees the user's hands to play another instrument. It positions the harmonica perfectly. The unit eliminates the discomfort associated with wearing neck-style holders. Furthermore, the holder is easy to set up and use.
The original design was submitted to the Sacramento office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
