Improved Medicine Cart Invented by InventHelp Client (BMA-4850)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) May 20, 2017 -- Hospitals, nursing homes and other related facilities use medication carts to distribute medication to the patients. These carts are extremely helpful because they allow medical staff to sort and securely store medication in drawers until it is needed, but because they have drawers all the way to the bottom of the structure, some compartments are harder to reach than others.
A nurse and inventor from Southbridge, Mass., has invented MWANGI MEDICATION CART, an improved medication cart design that allows easier access to lower drawers. "In my line of work, I use rolling medication carts with almost all my patients," said the inventor. "To load up and dispense medications in such carts hurts my lower back, so I decided to invent a cart that enables me to access and view the lower drawers easier.”
MWANGI MEDICATION CART helps to prevent back pain or injuries associated with frequent hunching, as well as helps ensure the correct medications are dispensed. It also permits temperature sensitive medications, such as insulin, to be maintained at the proper temperature and minimizes the risk of the incorrect medication being administered.
The original design was submitted to the Boston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
