InventHelp, a Pittsburgh-based invention company, is submitting the My Life Saver to companies for their review and possible feedback.

Do you wish there was a convenient and worry-free way to ensure that accurate medical and personal information are always available when needed? Then you need the MY LIFE SAVER.

The MY LIFE SAVER provides a convenient and secure place to store an individual's health care records history, insurance and related legal and personal information. In doing so, it ensures that the information is readily available at all times, even in the event of an emergency medical situation where an individual is non-responsive. As a result, it could help reduce medical errors or prescription errors. The invention makes storing, retrieving and interchanging information easy and it can also be used for pets. Additionally, the MY LIFE SAVER is producible in design variations.

The inventor, from Warminster, Pa., described her inspiration for the invention. “I came up with this invention for my mother. I wanted to make sure that all medical information was available. My mother was extremely ill and a device like this would have stopped a lot of costly unnecessary medical treatments plus the pain and suffering she endured."

The original design was submitted to the King of Prussia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
