InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is submitting the MY SAFE LADDER to companies for their possible feedback.

After many close calls involving his ladder sliding over the years, an inventor and HVAC technician from Sunrise, Fla., decided to develop an easy but reliable way to prevent this dangerous problem. "That’s when I came up with MY SAFE LADDER," he said.

MY SAFE LADDER is a device that improves ladder safety by increasing stability in order to prevent the ladder from sliding off roof edges or gutters. This helps prevent injurious or fatal accidents. It also avoids wear and tear on roof edges and gutters. In addition, the device eliminates the need for an assistant to hold the ladder for safe climbing.
Ergonomic and easy to use, MY SAFE LADDER also can be built onto new ladders. The idea is patent pending.

The original design was submitted to the Hollywood office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
