InventHelp Invention Prevents Abuse of Narcotic Pills (DHM-153)

InventHelp, founded in 1984, is submitting the NARCOTIC PILL DISPENSER to companies for their consideration.

"I have to take pain medication, and it’s hard to keep secure," said one of two inventors from Climax, N.C. "Our son became addicted to this medication, so we decided that something has to be done to prevent this from happening to others with pain medication in the home."

The durable and easy-to-use NARCOTIC PILL DISPENSER optimizes security of narcotic medication. It allows only a proper dosage to be taken on a regular basis, which prevents addiction, overdose and illegal drug sales. The invention is ideal for households, hospitals, doctors’ offices, rehab centers, pharmacies and other medical facilities.

The original design was submitted to the Durham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
