InventHelp, a Pittsburgh-based invention submission firm, is submitting the Non Slip Painters Drop Cloth to companies in the hopes of a good faith review.

"While painting the interiors of high-end homes, it is important to put down drop cloths and mats before starting the job," said an inventor from Moss Landing, Calif. "These mats are not held down, so homeowners might slip on them and hurt themselves, which is why I developed better mats."

He created a prototype for the NON SLIP PAINTERS DROP CLOTH to not slip out of place. This prevents slip-and-fall injuries, which is designed to enhance personal safety. The drop cloth offers added peace of mind. The mat prevents paint splatters from staining the floor. Furthermore, it can be set up wherever it is needed.

The original design was submitted to the San Francisco office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
