InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is attempting to submit this idea, the Pet-A-Vac, to applicable companies for their consideration.

PITTSBURGH...An inventor from Corrales, N.M., has two large dogs that spend most of their days outdoors. When they come in, they bring along dirt, grass and other debris with them. This stuff gets everywhere when they shake off. "I invented something that solves this problem," the inventor said.

The patent-pending PET-A-VAC enables a user to clean a pet more quickly and easily. It prevents the pet from spreading dirt, debris and loose fur all over a home interior, which avoids messes and the need for continuous cleanup. Overall, it saves time and effort. Compact, ergonomic, easy to use and producible in design variations, PET-A-VAC promotes a sanitary and neat home environment.

The original design was submitted to the National Sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
