Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Dog-Walking Accessory (LGI-1708)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) March 26, 2014 -- Some dogs are big and hard to handle. This makes it all the more difficult to take them on walks. In order to lend a helping hand, an inventor from Malverne, N.Y., created a prototype for the patent-pending COMFY HANDLE.
The accessory makes holding a leash more comfortable. The invention prevents skin from being chafed or burned. This is designed to safeguard against injuries. The device also enables a pet owner to control the dog more effectively. Additionally, the unit makes taking a dog for a walk more enjoyable and fun, and it features a decorative design.
The inventor's personal experience motivated the idea. "I recently adopted a dog," she said. "When I take the dog for walks, I find that holding the leash injures my wrist as the dog pulls me around. I wanted to come up with something that would protect my wrist."
The original design was submitted to the Long Island office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
