"For years I have observed my cats rubbing against things and not getting the satisfaction of being pet," said an inventor from Philadelphia, Pa. "This gave me the idea to invent a pet brush that the animal can use all on its own. Now they can get the satisfaction they crave."
She created a prototype for the Scratch My CaT to enable a pet to scratch and groom itself more easily. The invention simulates the feel of being petted. The unit ensures that the pet's coat remains healthy and shiny. The accessory removes tangled and loose hairs. Additionally, it keeps the pet happy and satisfied.
The original design was submitted to the Philadelphia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
