While standard electrical outlets and appliance plugs are made to fit together, sometimes the plug doesn’t fit tightly enough to stay in place. In instances like this, the problem can be resolved with a device conceived of by an inventor from Edmonds, Wash.
He developed the patent-pending PLUG RECEPTACLE to hold plugs firmly in place in outlets. As such, it keeps the plugs from falling out of electrical outlets and breaking the connection. Furthermore, it is effective and easy to install and use. At the same time, it improves electrical safety by reducing the chances for electrical shock. It is also convenient, attractive and affordably priced. In addition, its simple design minimizes production costs.
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “This idea came to me while in my bedroom where I had to continually replace a plug that kept falling out. I wanted to find a way to avoid losing the electrical connection over and over again,” he said.
The original design was submitted to the Seattle office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
