Portable Energy Source Invented for Miniature Lighting Displays - Designed by InventHelp Client (NJD-975)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 28, 2015 -- Whether they are inspired by the holidays or a general enjoyment of miniature displays at any time of the year, such creations usually require lighting for the desired visual effect. Fortunately, an inventor from Whitehouse Station, N.J., has found a cost efficient and environmentally friendly power supply for those lights.
He developed PORT A PLUG to provide DC power to miniature DC lights and accessories for train set or holiday display villages. As such, it enhances the appearance of model layouts and stand-alone collectible structures. At the same time, it eliminates the clutter of electrical cords. Even more important, it conserves the use of electricity. Furthermore, it is lightweight, portable and easy to use. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced.
The inventor’s personal interest in miniature displays inspired the idea. “I wanted hobbyists to be able to set up their lighted miniature displays and model railroads without needing to worry about locating them near a wall electric outlet. I also wanted to avoid having a tangle of electric wires detract from the visual effect,” he said.
The original design was submitted to the New Jersey office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
