InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is attempting to submit the Quick Cut to appropriate companies for their review and possible consideration.

Do you wish there was a way to save time and increase accuracy when cutting and measuring work materials like gypsum wallboard? Then you need the patent-pending QUICK CUT.

The QUICK CUT enables work material to be measured and cut simultaneously. In doing so, it increases accuracy and it offers added convenience. It also saves time because it eliminates the need to search for separate measuring and cutting tools. The invention features a dual-function design that is easy to attach and use so it is ideal for trades people, maintenance personnel, construction laborers and do-it-yourselfers.

The inventor, from Freeport, N.Y., was inspired to create this based on personal need. “I thought there should be an easier way to measure and cut wall board, so I invented this.”

The original design was submitted to the Long Island office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
