Based in Pittsburgh, InventHelp is submitting the REFUSE RETRIEVAL, STORAGE AND DISPOSAL APPARATUS to companies for their review.

Picking up after a pet drops solid waste on the ground can be an unsanitary chore, but it’s a must if a healthy environment and politeness are to be maintained. In order to facilitate this task, an inventor from Pensacola, Fla., developed and acquired a patent for the REFUSE RETRIEVAL, STORAGE AND DISPOSAL APPARATUS.

This device provides a quicker, easier and more sanitary way to retrieve, store and dispose of pet waste. It eliminates the need to contact waste directly. It also prevents littered property and is treated at a sanitation system instead of the city dump, which benefits the environment. Overall, it promotes convenience.

The user scoops up the waste with an extraction mechanism and end doors close automatically. He or she turns the unit upside down so that the waste goes into an extraction chamber. On tapping the unit the waste moves into a storage chamber. When proper disposal is possible, the user pumps water from a toilet bowl via the fluid conduit and pump. The water fills the storage chamber, breaks down the waste and allows the waste to be emptied into the toilet.

The original design was submitted to the Mobile office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
