Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit an invention, Reminder Buddy, to companies for review.

An inventor from Germantown, Md., knows how frustrating it can be to leave home without necessary items, or to forget about important tasks that need to be fulfilled during the day. "I tend to leave my house in a hurry every morning, and I forget important items and things I have to do," he said. "In order to solve this problem, I conceived of my design."

The Reminder Buddy prevents a user from forgetting important things and tasks needed for the day. It keeps him or her from leaving behind important items, neglecting medications and/or leaving appliances turned on. It also avoids missed appointments, tasks, events, etc. Overall, it promotes organization and peace of mind.

The original design was submitted to the Pittsburgh office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
