An inventor from Spokane, Wash., is quite familiar with the difficulties of proofing plants from invasion by wild animals, and he has used his expertise in achieving this to design an alternative repellent. "When my son and his family moved to a 10-acre land, I planted some fruit-bearing trees and quickly learned which ones were vulnerable to the heavy deer and moose population," he said. "I went through a trial-and-error of makeshift and store-bought noisemakers, commercial deer repellents (many of which were sprays, had minimal effect, didn’t deter moose and cost a lot of money) and pepper sprays - to no avail. I finally developed a pepper-based repellent that surpasses those methods."
The REPELLENT SYSTEM provides a more effective way to deter insects and wild animals from eating and destroying plants and orchard crops. It prevents the hassle and frustration of trial-and-error deterrents. It also reduces the frequency of reapplication, which reduces need for replacement and saves money.
Ergonomic, versatile, convenient, affordable and easy to use, the REPELLENT SYSTEM doesn't ruin plants or crops, and it also can be used to deter bears from bird feeders, garbage cans, etc., and as protection for prey animals against wolves.
The inventor has created a prototype of his idea.
The original design was submitted to the office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
