Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Improved Hard-Hat Design (RIM-213)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) July 26, 2016 -- "I wanted to help improve the safety of individuals who work in dangerous conditions," said an inventor from Powhatan, Va. "I thought that making their hard hat or any head gear more visible would help ensure that workers are clearly seen so that they are not killed on the job."
He developed the "SEE ME" system to make the wearer visible to others. This ensures that motorists and equipment operators can see the individual and avoid hitting him/her, which minimizes the risk of accidents, injuries and death. All of this is designed to enhance personal safety. Also, the hard-hat system helps save construction companies and insurance companies millions in workman's compensation claims. Additionally, the device is comfortable to wear and easy to operate. The idea is patent pending.
The original design was submitted to the Richmond office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
