Pittsburgh-based InventHelp is submitting the SELF MOISTURIZER to companies in the hopes of their good faith review.

An inventor from Riverhead, N.Y., always needs someone to assist her with washing and putting lotion on her back, so she decided that there needs to be an alternative way to perform these tasks in an easier, independent manner.

SELF MOISTURIZER is a device that provides an alternative way to wash and/or apply lotion to the back. It eliminates the need for assistance, which promotes independence. It also prevents strain and struggle in order to avoid discouragement that can lead to sacrificing good hygiene. Ergonomic, versatile and easy to use, the device is ideal for obese, physically disabled and elderly people.

The original design was submitted to the Long Island office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
