Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit an invention, Shells, to companies for review.

Looking for a novel holiday display idea? Well, thanks to an inventor from Chicago, Ill., your search is over.

He developed a prototype for Shells to beautify a home with very little effort. Furthermore, it is built to withstand heat and inclement weather. Versatile and practical, it is an ideal decoration for any holiday or special occasion. What's more, it is just as effective indoors or outdoors. Besides that it is lightweight, portable and easy to install. It is also convenient, economical, time-saving and affordably priced. In addition, it is a great gift idea for any occasion.

The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "I wanted to add my daughter’s name as a decoration on my Christmas tree," he said. "I thought this would appeal to anyone who enjoys decorating for the holidays."

The original design was submitted to the Chicago office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
