InventHelp is submitting this idea, the SINKHOLE DETECTOR, to companies for their consideration and potential feedback.

Sinkholes are usually formed by water-caused erosion over time, and they can result in fatal destruction of high magnitude. "Due to all of the death and destruction caused by sinkholes, I decided to develop an easy and accurate way to check properties for sinkholes," said an inventor from Brooksville, Fla. "This is in the interest of both saving lives and homes."

To meet this need he designed and created a prototype of the SINKHOLE DETECTOR, a device that allows for easy, accurate detection of sinkholes, which lets it be known that property is dangerous. It also provides time to fix the problem before it’s too late, possibly reducing insurance costs. Most important, the device helps save lives and homes.

The original design was submitted to the Tampa office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
