InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is submitting the SKIMVAC to companies in the hopes of their good faith review.

An inventor from Canaseraga, N.Y., wants to offer people an improved way to skim a swimming pool. "I couldn’t enjoy swimming with my kids because I was spending too much time skimming the pool," he said, "so I decided that there should be a way to cut down on skimming time via a more efficient skimming method."

The patent-pending SKIMVAC is a device that enables a user to skim a swimming pool in a quicker, more efficient manner. It prevents long periods of struggle and hassle, which saves time and effort. It also leaves more time to spend with family and friends, as well as promotes exercise, fun, enjoyment and relaxation.

Ergonomic, compact, easy to use, affordable and designed to maintain a clean pool with less chemicals, the SKIMVAC is ideal for all households with pools and public swimming pools.

The original design was submitted to the Rochester office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
