InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Ohio, has designed a redesigned paint pad that enables paint to be applied to walls in hard-to-reach areas. This invention is patented and a prototype is available.
The “Skinny Mini Paint Tool” could enable an individual to effectively apply paint in hard-to-reach areas, and would eliminate the need to move heavy objects when painting. Helping to reduce physical strain, it also ensures a professional finished appearance. Washable and reusable, it is convenient and easy to use. According to the inventor, this product saves time and energy, and is ideal for both commercial painters and do-it-yourselfers.
The redesigned pad features an integrated flat handle that is mounted to the rear of the pad. A hinge and spring-loaded mechanism enables the angle of the pad to pivot in relation to the end of the handle. Included notches could let a painter add extension attachments to increase the length of the tool. To use, an individual grasps the handle and then positions the paint-saturated pad in the desired location. They then use the conventional back and forth motion to apply paint to the wall.
“I was trying to paint in a tight space in our bathroom,” said the inventor. “It was very difficult and messy, and I thought there had to be a better way – so I created the Skinny Mini Paint Tool to eliminate this problem.”
InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 12-CLC-4991 at (800) 851-6030.
