Improved Crimping Tool Invented by Two InventHelp® Clients (KPD-164)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) May 23, 2014 -- The conventional tool used for crimping is difficult to use in tight spaces because it requires ratcheting and a lot of leverage. "This inspired us to design a crimping tool that is much more ergonomic and effective," said one of two inventors from Canadensis, Pa.
They then created a prototype of the patent-pending SLINGER EASY CUT AND CRIMP, a tool that provides an easier way to crimp a hose or pipe ring in tight spaces. It eliminates the need for ratcheting and reduces the necessary leverage, which avoids struggle and hassle. It also saves time, effort and labor costs. The tool is ideal for plumbers, electricians, mechanics, utility workers, contractors and DIYers.
The original design was submitted to the King of Prussia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
