Potential Hazard Warning Sign Invented by InventHelp Client (CIC-124)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 03, 2016 -- Too often, serious injuries resulting from slips and falls on wet surfaces result in costly medical expenses and law suits. That is, of course, in addition to the pain and suffering of the victim. Fortunately, an inventor from Waukegan, Ill., has conceived of an idea that could prevent such accidents.
He developed the patent-pending SLIP SAFE to provide a verbal warning of a fall hazard, like wet floors. As such, it improves safety by reducing the chances of injuries from slipping on a wet floor. As a result, it decreases the number of insurance claims and law suits filed. Therefore, it saves time, effort and money. At the same time, it reduces absenteeism and raises productivity levels for businesses and other organizations. It is also convenient, effective and affordably priced. In addition, it is practical, lightweight and easy to use.
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “About twenty years ago, I tripped over a ‘Wet Floor’ sign. Afterward, I thought that if that sign had been equipped with an audio message that I could have heard on entering the area, I would not have tripped,” he said.
The original design was submitted to the Chicago office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
